The creative mind is a reflection of our Creator. GC’s approach to enhancing students’ natural creativity is beyond developing artistry. We develop critical thinkers and solution-finders, as well as artists. Students find that GC’s art program offers a wide array of opportunities to meet their needs...and those opportunities continue to grow.

The art instructor works with students grades 7-12 in visual arts, and she approaches art through art history, theory, and skill building which sparks innate creativity. Students’ work is showcased in a spring art exhibit each year on the GC campus. Check out one of our Art Gallery Slide Shows.

GC's visual arts program provides the opportunity for students to learn techniques and work with a wide array of mediums and learn:

  • painting
  • sculpture
  • drawing

Students can enter their art in regional and state competitions through TAPPS (Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools).
