Greenville Christian School is not affilliated with any church or denomination. Our students currently represent more than 50 area churches, and it is our goal to partner with both churches and families to prepare students to excel throughout their lives. For information on the fundamental beliefs we represent, please refer to the Statement of Faith.
Partnership includes opportunities to reinforce the importance of church membership, attendance and participation in the life of any Christian. Partnership also includes opportunities for church members and ministers to participate with the school. Opportunities to student teach, coach, mentor and/or visit the school are extended to church communities.
In January, the school hosts "Love your Church Week" where the students learn about God's purposes for establishing the church culminates in a note of appreciation to church leaders and an invitation to visit the school a couple of weeks later during Pastor's Appreication Chapel. This past year, a student video team created a video to honor pastors during the chapel.
Churches also provide financial support to the school, at times, often from their ministry budgets, as they recognize the school as a ministry to Christian families in the surrounding area.
Ministers may also be eligible for a tuition discount. For more information, contact the GC office.
